I love to use fat quarters for quilting and pouches. Basically, whatever I can figure out to use them in! Thanks so much!

I use fat quarters for quilts mostly but they could go into a FQ bag or placemats.

Vroomans' Quilts said...

As a scrap quilter, FQs are yardage to me and can go a long way in several projects. Occassionally I use them for sampler quilts.

Béa said...

I love to use them for quilting.

Carol Andrews said...

I love using fat quarters in my quilt projects. It is a challenge and part of the design fun to see how many I can work in to a quilt without making the quilt look too scrappy when using the same block pattern. I really enjoy digging through the fat quarter bin to see how many I can put together with similar color ranges and patterns. I love the versatility of using fat quarters in both sampler and scrappy quilts. I keep telling myself to venture in to bag making, but think it would become another addiction forcing me to have to fondle more fabric!

Puppilalla said...

What interesting yellow charcoal combinations in the fabrics. I could sure use them right now for a bee block request that has come up.

Nancy J said...

Fat Quarters are so good when I make bags, as there isn't huge yardage left over, that way each bag can be unique. Those FQ's look stunning, great colours and so good combined together.

ledamewood said...

I like to make quilts more than anything

Beth said...

I make quilts! Today I'm making blocks for my quilt for Orlando, and most of them are coming from fat quarters in my stash.

Julia D @ Jada's Quilting Adventures said...

I would make a quilt! My husband loves these colours so I would make another one for him :) Thanks for a chance at the giveaway :)

Lisa J. said...

I pretty much make quilts with fat quarters...although I have been known to make a pouch or two...and a burp cloth or two...and table runners.

KathySue said...

I frequently use fat quarters for quilt projects, especially applique. But they are also used for my new Christmas tree skirt and some new holiday placemats. kathleendotlutzatcomcastdotnet

Lisa England said...

I use FQs to make quilts, bags, anything! As long as they are big enough for what I need, I'll use them in whatever I make.

Sewmom18 said...

I will use them for anything. I do like to use them for napkins.

Anonymous said...

Fat quarters are great for bags but I usually tend to think of quilting with them first.

Michele T said...

I love to use FQs to make quilts of all sizes and table toppers too!

Susan L. said...

I love fat quarters because I can make just about anything from them, from quilts to runners.

Little Quiltsong said...

I love to make quilts with Fat Quarters - and always hope there is enough left over for some patchwork log cabin blocks :)!

I love making zippy pouches with fat quarters but I really enjoy miniquiltsM took me a while to realize that I could actually finish something on a smaller scale than a full size quilt! Mumbird3(at)gmail(dot)com

Heide said...

I make quilts with my FQ.

Jan @Cocoa Quilts said...

Quilts. I just cracked open a fat quarter bundle and am trying to decide on a quilt pattern.

BrendaM said...

I love making pouches, they are quick to do and the finished products are rarely the same.

Suzie's Armoire said...

I don't make many pouches, so I use FQ to make my quilt blocks. Years ago when I started quilting, I decided to make a true charm quilt (where every fabric was different--nothing repeated) out of HST. I needed over 400 different fabrics, so FQs where my way of slowly building my stash. Now I have a ton of FQ that I don't do much with, because those prints aren't considered modern enough. I also have a collection of batik FQs that I've been using in my Project 48 Quilt.

KimB said...

I like to make quilts with fat quarters

Preeti said...

Definitely pouches. I also tweaked the 1-hour basket pattern to make it out of two fat quarters including the handles. I believe that the FQ is the most versatile pre-cut. There is enough fabric to tray different patterns and it can be cut into any other pre-cut, as required.

Unknown said...

I get some super fat quarters every month though the mail from Sew Sisters and it's like Christmas once a month. I wished more shops would offer this great once a month surprise that costs so little. I sew all the time with fat quarters.

rosemaryschild said...

Definitely quilts-easier to handle-ready to cut!

Debbi said...

I usually make quilts but also make pouches sometimes. They also work for the occasional baby bonnet.

Patty said...

quilts. I love buying a fq bundle.

barbaradougherty126 said...

Quilts mostly

Liz Horgan said...

I seem to be more of a collector of fat quarters than a user of them! When I do use them, it's for quilts since I don't make many bags.

DebW said...

Generally quilts - but lately I've been making more bags and using them there as well. Thanks!

KaliaContiki said...

I like making quilting. I love putting together a collection of fat quarters that I know will look amazing in a quilt. It's scrappy but more controlled then true scraps - a perfect combination!

Kris said...

I love FQ's. I feel there is plenty to do what you want to do and challenge you to make the best of it. I have several times thought I would use the whole FQ and then I have left over so I use it in another quilt and still have left over. Perfect creative size!

Joy said...

Fat quarters are a great way to collect low volume fabrics. Great giveaway! Thank you!

Chiska said...

I like to make quilts. Thanks!

Nancy L said...

I mainly use FQ's for quilting, but have been known for using them for pouches also. I usually hate to cut them up, they are so special.

Diane Beavers said...

Fat Quarters are my go to for pretty much every project.

Rosemary B❤️ said...

When you get a fat quarter bundle, you have a piece of all or most of the fabric line.
It is great because anything you make with it,
the fabrics are all part of the same collection. That makes the piece more special
Thank you for this give away, Lorna

Rhona said...

I buy fat quarters weekly and I collect them for quilts

Dobieslady1 said...

I like to use my fat quarters for quilts and for bags. When I need a particular color, I don't have to commit to cutting up yardage and somehow it is easier for me to cut up a fat quarter. They are great when you love the fabric, but don't know what you want to make with it. Also easier to store!!!

Debbie Darlington said...

MAKE something with fat quarters? I confess I've made very little, but I AM GOOD at collecting them...lol! I do recall a couple of baby quilts for charity...but mostly collecting. True story!

Sherry VF said...

I love scrappy quilts. FQs are great to be a focus around other fabrics I mix in with them. sjvonfumetti at yahoo dot com

Beth @ Cooking Up Quilts said...

I love to use FQ for quilts. I struggle with pulling fabrics that work together and a fat quarter bundles help me with that!

LJ said...

Goodness, fat quarters really are a great invention. They work beautifully when I want every fabric in a collection to make a quilt. They also are wonderful when I need just one more fabric to round out the fabrics for a project. They work perfectly for applique, too. I probably use them more often for quilts but they are just so versatile.

Betsy said...

I use fat quarters for added colors in quilts but I mostly use them for baby items like bibs and burpcloths
