More Mommy and Me

Thank you all for the wonderful response to my recent posts sharing more about my mommy and me.

I am so grateful to have this time to spend with my mom and look forward to our weekly lunch dates.

None of us knows how many days we are counted.

So I am doing my best to make each day count.

I have been blogging for quite a while now - over 8 years.

I know I will enjoy being able to look back on these posts later on...

and remember how good the times have been.

And how good the fresh grilled hot dogs tasted...

How messy and delicious were the pulled pork on a bun...

And how cool and creamy the ice cream cones were.

YUMMY!

This is where we were with the last sewing room update.

With a couple new cube storage units and baskets.

I made a few more changes and additions to the room.

And have been decorating the wall spaces!

I found a new light fixture on Facebook Marketplace...

To the left is my ironing station.

To the right I have a place for each of my sewing machines.

AND notice the new RED Tea Pot?

Remember this idea I shared last week?

I found this mirror with drawers for 15 bucks at the ReStore.

And these handy little S hooks to hang my rulers and rotary cutter.

Here are some previous posts about MY SEWING ROOMS over the years:

Happily, most of you responded well to my scoping out "junk" on the internet.

I am becoming obsessed with finding cute gardening ideas.

Meanwhile, I also came across these SUPER CUTE sewing themed Christmas Balls!!!

Is it too early to be planning on decorating the Sewing Room for Christmas?

Wishin' I Was Fishin'

Summer time and the livin' is easy...

Just want to show you how "heavy with blooms" my Rose of Sharon is too!!!

These next photos show the quilting well...

Quilted using plain white thread.

The backing is the same as I used for the BEACH quilt.

The Kingfisher print is from the By The Pond collection by Debbie Shore.

The "Wishin' I Was Fishin'" quilt finished at 38" x 46"
