I am so glad to see you here this week and hope you are ready to party!
I have been working on a few more mini mini quilts. Again.
In my mini mini madness, I decided to revisit some of the blocks from the Forest Friends pattern. After working on the Cougar block and making a mini mini quilt for Sarah of Cedar Fork Stitches, I was inspired to make some of those other woodland animals into mini form.
You can find the MINI Forest Friends pattern in my shop here.
The mini mini quilt craze has been sweeping across Instagram for a while now. Not all of us are on Instagram, so I thought it would be great if we could ALL participate in the party.
Here you will find the Never Ending Mini Mini Quilt Linky Party. I am hoping you will give mini mini making a try. I had so much fun making these wee little mini mini quilts.
And now have plans for so many more!
Well, Hello there! This is the Dog Gone Cute quilt made by Jane Keene. She was so sweet to send me an email and offered to share a photo of her finished quilt top with all of us here.
What I love about this quilt is that Jane added a gorgeous border and enough blocks to make this a full size bed quilt. Jane says, "The quilt when finished will go to a local dog rescue for a raffle. Those dogs are addictive. My husband didn't think I would ever finish. I made it in 30 days while working full time. Not bad really. Please visit my Facebook page at The Quilting Bee Buzz. The girls would be tickled to see a comment from the designer. Thanks again!"
For any of you who would like to make your own Dog Gone Cute quilt, please be aware that this is a free quilt along and all the info can be found here.
Like I mentioned last week, I really should take care of these bonus HST (Half Square Triangles) that were cut offs from making the Raccoon quilt. But they are going into a bin because......
The FABRIC for the Modernitional Bear Paw quilt is here!!!!
Thanks to the generosity of Northcott Fabrics.

I'm loving all of the mini minis out there ... I haven't entered one myself yet ... I'm scared that if I start, I might not be able to stop!
Would you believe I have never made a mimi, let alone a mini mini. I'mi tempted to join in, but I have to finish Bluebell Woods for my great reveal on the 2016 New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop which starts this Monday, 13th June. After that I promise you my first mini mini.
Ahhh... I see that you got sucked into the mini mini quilt madness too... it's really hard to stop! Small just always equals cute. Have fun with it!
I'm really looking forward to seeing that bear quilt!
I have made a few minis before but not recently. Your mini animals are so cute!
Lorna, I'm amazed by your talent in recreating animals. Not a easy task. Those fox are particularly lovely and expressive. Have a good day!
My my, you are looking quite foxy today, lady! I love it. I'm excited to hear that you are getting ready to start on the Modernitional Bear Paw quilt.
The mini minis you are making are so cute! Those are some really tiny pieces :)
Dear Lorna, as always, your creativity, enthusiasm and sharing your brilliance always makes me happy. I love your foxes, and the raccoons.
You really do make me happy to come and see what you are doing.
I finally finished the Elephant Parade that my granddaughter asked for! I changed it up a little bit by adding another row and a few more baby elephants and I LOVE the pattern. Thanks, Lorna!
Mini Mini quilts are definitely going to stick around; they are so much fun! I really love seeing your creativity at work making the new (smaller) quilts. :)
You got the mini mini bug Lorna!!! Your little critters are so cute in the mini mini versions (in all versions actually!) I love that you have a never ending link up to share the crazy craze!!
Love your minis! You are so very creative!
Those little foxes have so much poise and personality! They make adorable mini-minis! Lorna that is so fun - a never ending mini-mini linky party - What a great idea! Can people link very old posts to it too? (I don't have any, but wondered about people who do)
PS - It's very exciting that you'll be sewing your Modernitional Bear Paw soon!
Lorna, you always do such a great job making sure everyone is included! Thanks for the never-ending mini mini linky!
Your mini minis are crazy but oh so cute Lorna!! I just popped over to the PEIMQG and really enjoyed reading your guest post. I didn't appreciate that you were quite so rural - but lovely that you are never lonely!
Thanks Lorna, for the shout out, I know everyone at PEIMQG is loving what you're doing. They were all very excited about your guest blog. You're the best!
