I lean towards cooler colors, blues and greens. But when it comes to clothing and accessories, green usually wins out in the end.

Violet - but i like to call it purple. I took a colour class once with a well known quilter whose expertise is colour and I was told there is no colour purple.

I find it really hard to pick one colour, because I am more of a rainbow kind of scrappy girl. Personally I have been know to be biased to orange and purple, however fabric wise I seldom work with them, greens and blues have my preference there.

It depends on what the color is for. If it is for a shirt or something like that, I love pink. It looks great with my skin. However, if I am quilting or decorating my home, I love blues.

For many years purple (all shades and tones) has been my favourite color, but now that I am getting to spend more time fondling fabric, I am drawn irresistibly to grey and green which provide such beautiful neutrals which can then be accented with any color for contrasts. In other words; any color is my favourite color when playing with fabric!

It very much depends on what it is for but my overall favourite colour is yellow. I rarely use it in quilting, never ever for clothes, but I have used a pale version decorating the house. So why do I love yellow? Because it is such a happy sunshine colour, and it makes my heart sing.
