|Sew Fresh Quilts blogger bundle from Fabric Please!|
Meanwhile, Rita of Fabric Please! sent me this saturated bundle of loveliness. This is the Sew Fresh Quilts blogger bundle, which I will be sharing a tutorial for in August. You will get a chance to win your very own bundle in our giveaway. I can hardly wait!
Aside from all the sewing and quilting, my daughter and I have been doing a little gardening. The dirt in front of our porch got a good digging up last fall. I planted the tulip bulbs that came up this spring. And this week Erin and I went shopping for a few flowers and some mulch.
I used to do a lot of gardening when my kids were little, but I have been slacking off since I started quilting. It was sure an enjoyable day spent digging in the dirt with my girl.

It is so nice to know we all have a life outside of the sewing room and away from social media. Seeing the flowers you planted makes me so happy! :)
Love the fabrics :) And the flowers are nice too :) I'm not much of a gardener, but I enjoy sitting in one :)
love that fabric that you show - very eye catching!
Such a tidy garden Lorna. Love that bunny. It's nice that your daughter worked on the garden with you. My son is coming for a visit on Saturday to help me with some heavy duty weeding and tree trimming this weekend. My daughter hates gardening.
Lorna, your Blogger bundle is so gorgeous...Orange and turquoise are my color addictions and a little lime splashed in makes it so refreshing too. Love your outdoor friends in your garden...too cute...and your gardening adventure was so relaxing to read. Nice to know I'm not the only one whose garden/flower beds are second to sewing/quilting:)
I can't wait to see what you make with the fabric bundle, Lorna! I'm sure it will be fantastic!
How did we have time to garden when we had small children, but not after we picked up quilting?! I have totally slacked on planting flowers over the past few years! Cute little critters in your garden!
Love that fabric bundle. The colors really stand out next to the black!
Hi Lorna. Yes, quilting takes over every spare minute ; )
I see where your inspiration comes from for some of your quilts. Might the next one be a raccoon quilt??
Such a wonderful fabric bundle to look forward to!! And looking at your garden "friends", I couldn't help thinking they are so in keeping with all your playful critter quilt designs :)
you're so clever! Do you sleep? The fabric is cute!LeeAnna
Love the Eiffel Tower print Lorna! I know what you mean about gardening v quilting…ummm my garden is now an overgrown bramble patch! Your flowers would cheer me up big time :)
Your fabric bundle is awesome! Can't wait to hear more about the tutorial.
That curated bundle is tasty indeed. I may just have to break down and buy one. Or I could slip Mr. Random Number Generator a little somethin' during your giveaway! :)
I love all the little critters next to your flowers! We had such a rainy spring that I didn't get any seeds planted. Oh well, less gardening, more quilting for me this summer! :)
Those are some luscious fabrics, but I still smile when I see prints on your blog. They're unexpected--I'm so used to the solids. Your garden is so cute! Of course, it has to have those little animals. Which makes me wonder--is there a little raccoon quilt in your future-or have you already done that and I forgot?
You have some fun animals in your garden. Lucky you canstay outside. Here we have mostly rain and cold weather.
That's such a pretty bundle. I like all the saturated colors and the dots, especially those dots on the far right! And I might be a little jealous of all the cute little critters in your gardens. ;) They're great!
Ah gardening ... I always love it once I'm in it, but man I am a little too good at putting it off! Love that bundle you got, especially the black and white floral.
