This quilt was begun in my old life. The top was completed. And now that I am back in the quilting saddle again since my move to a new home, this Scottie Dog quilt is finished!
There are so many options of how to make these little dogs. I went with a scrappy look. And wanted one of my dogs to be wearing a bow.
It had been quite some time since I used a flanged binding, but this quilt just felt like it need that little extra zing. You can find my complete list of Binding Tutorials here!
Last year at Quilt Market in Houston, I met Becky while I was there and she asked me to be a guest designer for December at International Association of Quilters. What is the IAQ????

What other quilts did I make using this sweet Daisy Days (by Keera Job for Riley Blake) fabric fat quarter bundle?
The bundle was first cut into to make the the Smitten Kitten last October.
Then I made the Scottie Dogs which was the last thing I worked on before moving.
The fabrics for the Hedgehog spikes were made with some of the remaining scraps.
and was the 6th use of my 3rd edition of 100 labels
How will you make yours?
All in BLACK?
In RAINBOW Rows?
Simply SCRAPPY with one Scottie all in BLACK?
And thank you so much for quilting along!!!!!!!

Thank you for the free pattern. I must admit that I was a little anxious to download that pattern and went to your Etsy shop before completely reading your entire post. I had a wonderful look around at all the patterns you've designed. You are very talented and creative and I've enjoyed following you on your journey.
These will make great kids' quilts. Thank you. Switch to light colors and they could be Westies or Wheatens.

Scottie dogs are so fun! This would be cute in a Wizard of Oz quilt with the high heeled shoe. I especially love the bow tie, really snazzes up the little feller. You are so generous, and can't wait to try this one! Hugs
Thank you so much for the scottie dog pattern. I'll be making a scrappy version using assorted Tula Pink fabrics. My daughter was quick to call dibs. :)
You have had quite the year, but you made it!! These dogs are so cute. But that bowtie is so darn adorable.
Eep! Such canine cuteness! Congratulations on this sweet finish. The flanged binding is spot-on. : )
