I was wondering when chickens would come into the mix - I just love them! I love the body color and the baby chicks scattered all around! Absolutely adore, as usual!

Love the chicks! Mama hens are sweet, too, but in some of the photos their heads appear to blend into the background, which is a pity.

This quilt is absolutely adorable!! I'm a chicken mama and one of our hens hatched chicks for the very first time about a month ago, so I have a special affinity to mama hens and baby chickies! Lovely pattern.

The chickens are too cute!

It never ceases to amaze me how you can put so much personality into little critters with a bit of body positioning a little square eye. It must be a big challenge to do that and make it look so simple. I wonder if you go through a lot of drafts--and if so, it would be interesting to see the various stages some of these patterns go through before you get to the final pattern. These chickies are adorable.
