It's the International Plowing Match QUILT SHOW!
Lots of people have been asking me.... What is going on?
I keep saying the International Plowing Match is in August.
But they are showing a date for September on the website.
I have to admit, even I was a little confused at first.
But now that I have it all figured out...
I have to admit, even I was a little confused at first.
But now that I have it all figured out...
Let's clear this up!
The event that I will be attending is the QUILT SHOW!
I mean... Tractor pulls are exciting but they won't draw me in like a quilt show will.

Yes, quilts are my thing, but the tractor pull has always been a fun family thing. I remember one year we got the best seat in the house (for a change), only to find out it was cancelled that year :0! I'm really looking forward to seeing all the quilts this time around and your booth especially!
Good Morning!
Our community hosted the plotting match a few years ago. The quilt tent was very popular and I did some volunteering there. Have fun at the quilt show.
Your link up is not working this morning. Hopefully, you can get it fixed soon!
Gail
That should have said PLOWING, not Plotting!!!! Silly auto-correct strikes again!
Wish I were close enough to attend. Now, if there would be curling, too, I'd be there in a heartbeat all the way from Tennessee!
now if you were only not so far north and I so far south I would drive up to see you!! good luck at your vendor booth
I will probably be there with my little munchkin in tow :)
I was confused regarding the dates as well until I got that Rural Roots magazine in the mailbox and read the 2 page article about the quilt show... in my opinion I don't think they advertised very well, I haven't seen any flyers in quilt shops from Harrowsmith to London (and I've hit quite a few lately!). Good luck with your booth and I will hopefully see you there :)
Looks like it would be a lot of fun, but it's a bit of a drive for me... so post lots of pictures so we can enjoy it through you! Thanks for the link-up!!
Do you have a page listing you fees for a daytime trunk show and/or teaching a class. Also what classes do you offer?
Hi there - my first linkup with you! I am following your blog on Feedly. Thank you so much for hosting - I sure would love to visit Ontario for that quilt show ~

Another first-timer here! Plowing match? This is a new one for me. Is it plowing as in farm fields? Well, whatever, I hope you have lots of paying customers! Good luck! And thanks for hosting the linkup!
Hi Lorna, best of luck at the quilt show!
Have so much fun, Lorna. A road trip to this would be fun but I just can't pull it off this month. Would love to meet you...some day!
PS - Kinda laughing with Libby in TN above. If there were curling...!!!
