Hi Lorna! Your squirrels are adorable! What a fantastic idea you had making cute animals like this, not Paper piecing! I want / need squirrels! x Teje

I'm in awe of your productivity and new ideas! Love the squirrels although here in the UK the grey variety at least receive mixed press. I'm intrigued by the first pic. The blocks appear to be levitating without any means of support!!!

Seriously Dude.... squirrels.
Ah. Maze. Balls. These may have to happen here.
Oh. And those blocks.....HST madness that rivals that Tula Pink pattern I just finished.
So. Many. Triangles. Do you by chance find the repetitive nature of the blocks as boring to sew as I do?
Nah, you probably have better attention since I think I saw this pattern previously here.... if you're making it again you can't be as easily annoyed as I am. Clearly you're a rockstar!

You are going to have a pattern for every animal before too long! I feel like these would make a great book.

Can't wait to see what those blocks will turn into. Squirrels??? You are on a roll with these animals. I think I need a few weeks' vacation to get going on all these cute animals.

JanineMarie said...

SQUIRREL!! (Maybe you could pair these with a dog. Or maybe that would be too distracting. Poor dog.) Seriously, though, these animals are amazing. You capture their shapes so well!

We have a love/hate relationship with squirrels at my house. We hate that they eat all the birdseed but we love how cute they are! I can't wait to see what you make with the squirrel blocks! Your half blocks are so pretty, love the colors.
