Let's Bee Social #66

Welcome Friends!  It is once again Wednesday.
And time for the Let's Bee Social linky party!

In honour of April Fool's Day, please check out this post from the past.  It's all about the time I made it!  Cover of a Quilting Magazine.  Miley ain't got nothing on me.  I guarantee it will either make your day or scare you away!

Happy Mail!!!  A pile of Kona Cotton Solids from Mad About Patchwork.
This Kona Cotton purchase was made in preparation for the Giraffe Love quilt I showed you last Wednesday.  For the Background: Ice Frappe, Pond, Pool, Breakers, Cyan & Oasis.  For the Giraffes there is Sunny & Cedar.  Cactus, Peapod & Grass are for the Leaves.

These Kona Cotton Solids have been chosen for the Giraffe Love baby quilt.

All my pieces were cut on Saturday. The piecing was started on Monday.

Hope to have a finished top to show by Friday!

Lovely giraffes in the new quilt. I might just make one too, and use it as a yoga mat: all that stretching!

How funny. I'm working with almost the exact same fabric for my current project.

Awwww, love that gorgeous stack of solids! I'm working on a sweet little girlie girl quilt ~ the fabric is totally opposite of my norm. Seeing that stack makes me drool!

Too funny! But that giraffe's not, it's adorable. Still working on Elephant Parade! Am down to making just one more block - Mr. Turtle, and I've already started sewing the rows together. Once completed, it gets packed in my luggage for the long trek back to CapeBreton, where it will get in line at the Janome to be finished. I only had one goal for March, and it didn't get done because the elephants were too much fun!

This is such a cute pattern! Great choice of fabrics for it.

What a load of fabric eye-candy! The pattern is great too, so I can't imagine that the quilt won't be epic.
