This patchwork quilt features a fun collection of printed fabrics. To name a few.... From the Sylvia collection we have Hulta, Suvi, Ruta, and Ada. Riley Blake Basics Variety in Hot Pink and Up Parasol Stella in Pink. Geekly Chic Small Mustaches and Chérie Bon Voyage Lumiere.
The sassy striped binding is a super soft Clown Stripe in black and white by Michael Miller Fabrics.
The backing is a whole cloth backing with no seam line from the Slipper Roses collection by Tanya Whelan for Westminster Fabrics/Free Spirit. Quilted using organic wavy lines from edge to edge in a horizontal direction. The indoor photo below does a better job of showing the quilting.
Cutting into my black and white Clown Stripe had me going all bug eyed. But once the binding strips are cut they look smart and kinda dressy! And it's SO SOFT!
This quilt finish was the 30th use of my 100 labels ordered from

Lovely finish, Lorna, and I am glad to hear it helped reduce your stress. :)
Very cute! The little touches of green are just perfect too.
That's a very pretty finish Lorna - don't think it will last long in your shop!
Such a lovely baby quilt! Quilting by itself is such a stress buster. Glad you got the stress out of your system :).
Enjoy!
Beautiful little quilt. I love the assortment of pretty fabrics that you used. Your quilting is perfect for it!
Such a sweet quilt, Lorna, but the black and white gives it a bit of an edge too. Great finish!
love love it! I would not have thought to put black into a pink baby quilt, but look at the result! awesome
What a fun quilt, I think the binding puts a little giggle in the finished project!
So cute Lorna! Love the backing too.
Wow, you didn't hang around Lorna, what a quick finish! So pretty too, don't think it'll be in your shop for long!
I love everything about this quilt, from the pinks with the blacks, to the text prints, to the French, to the backing, to the RPQ signature binding. I clicked on all the links (and might have got into a 15-minute vortex in your blog lol) and read about the boy quilt you first did, so I know this is in that similar vein. When I first saw it I immediately thought of Rita's quilts, love 'em. One day hope to recreate one for myself. ;-)
Sometimes a quick finish is exactly what is needed and this is such a sweet quilt! Beautifully done, Lorna! :)
I love simple quilts, and this one I super cute. I love all the pink.
Really love the combination of black + white, plus pinks and oatmeal colours, it's perfect!
I've been enjoying your sneak peaks of this quilt on Instagram. It is such a gorgeous quilt. You can never go wrong with simple patchwork. And the stripped binding is just perfection. Beautiful finish Lorna!
The combination of hot pink and black and white is so cute. I loved all the black and white prints you used!
A lovely quilt! I like the binding, finishes it off nicely!
What a sweet quilt. It's such a great mash-up of different prints and designers too, you've got such a wonderful eye, and that binding is to die for! I've seen the black and white stripe used for binding on a few quilts and can't wit to find the right quilt to try it myself. There's nothing quite like a quick relaxing finish, is there?
The striped binding is perfect on this quilt. What a great quilt for a sweet little girl. Debbie
I love the combination of pink and gray here. It's sweet and feminine. : )
What an adorable quilt. Love that black and white stripe binding. It's just what the sweet pink needed to finish it off.
Such a sweet quilt and I love the striped binding!
I love your colour combinations and am in love with that binding, perfect choice!
Great choices, Lorna! Pink and white with striped binding. Love the organic lines. I quilted one the same way recently and had as much fun as you. Congratulations.
Oh I love it - it's got some fabulous fabrics and you did a great job with the binding - mine always ends up a bit wonky!
Precious finish, Lorna. Love the wavy quilting, too.
