Welcome WINTER!
This is my front door on December 1, 2020.
The snow has taken the Merry out of my Christmas....
This was how it looked the day before.
This was the view from my sewing room window.
Basted and quilted the previous day, Christmas Lights were ready for binding.
And a fresh outdoor photoshoot!
Thanks to my son, Russell, who couldn't make it to work.
He has always been a willing helper and allowed me to get in a few full shots.
And a few close ups.
"Christmas Lights" finished at 64" x 74"
and is for sale in my shop here.
These indoor pics show off the organic wavy quilting.
Speaking of indoors.
Wouldn't be Christmas without Christ.
And here is our Christmas tree.
I have decorated simply, but include this photo of my little sister, Georgina, which has been hung on my Christmas tree each year since about 1982.
Wow. We're old.
And being she is my "little sister", that means I am the "old"est. Hahaha!
MERRY CHRISTMAS 2020 EVERYONE!

I love your Christmas Lights quilt, Lorna! No snow here in NL yet. It has been weirdly warm, getting up to 11 today. It was lovely to see your tree and your nativity set.
Love your patterns! Love your signature wavy line quilting. How do you do that? Do you make the diagonal? I've got some little foxes who could use that quilting....
Another great pattern. Please keep the snow in ON -- we don't want it. LOL
Love the cold and snow and , of course , All your creations !
Love your cute patterns and of course the wavy line. Can I ask if you do the quilting horizontally or vertically. I guess on the long arm you’d have to go horizontal...thanks for your beautiful creations
Love this quilt, and especially the background fabric. These pictures show your quilting so well. I love it. I have done wavy quilting on smaller projects with my domestic machine but haven't attempted on the long arm yet. Perhaps a goal for the new year. Always enjoy your posts. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
The lights look so good in the snow! Love it!
Nice quilt. Thanks for including the real reason for the season, Christ.
