But my Ugly Christmas Sweaters quilt sold on Sunday! So she's now on her way to Teresa in Ohio. Someone will be having a cozy Christmas!
How timely! I also received this email from Angie on Sunday....
Finally the binding is done! I can't figure out how to post on your QAL page, maybe because I don't have a blog. So here is my final product.
When I asked if I could have permission to share this beautiful finish on the blog, Angie said....
You can absolutely share the photos, no problem.
Details? Like binding takes the longest to finish, different fabric as I ran out of the other red, added Santa as he needs to be part of any Christmas project and might add some more buttons. Like a bear and a drum for the stocking, some lights on the tree, snowflakes but haven't decided yet.
Oh and the backing is the same fabric as yours. If some of the shoulders seem smaller, well I thought I'd remember the cutting instructions after having done some of the blocks but obviously I didn't , but I think it gives it more character!

So nice to see another person's finished Christmas Sweater Quilt. I'm hoping to have mine done soon too. So glad for this Sew Along - I'm looking forward to putting it out as soon as it is ready. It is almost Christmas - right?! :)
Congratulations on selling your quilt! It certainly will be loved and appreciated! Angie's came out beautiful, too. I like tha addition of the Santa block. Very clever. XO
I don't have a blog, but have been trying to keep busy this summer. I started out with n easy hunters square, ( or so I thought! That's still a WIP) I also joined a few QAL's along the way as well, so this winter will be very busy... Now I am seriously thinking about that Christmas sweater QAL as well!
I just love it! I'm still working on mine. I think, hands down, this is the most fun and creative pattern I have ever worked with. So much room for expression. And the idea for an ugly Christmas sweater quilt is brilliant! ♡

Really love how creative this quilt is, and the Santa on Angie's quilt is a great addition - that block really popped out to me. Thanks for sharing.
