Mad For Solids - Championship Game

This past week has been a tense (but friendly) competition between myself and 15 other quilting bloggers. Some of whom are some very close bloggy friends. Mad for Solids is a competition sponsored by Paintbrush Studio. Each of us 16 bloggers have selected a palette of 8 solids from the Inspired by Fabric's Painter's Palette Solids.

And now it's down to the WIRE!

Voting for the Championship Game
will run today, Tuesday, April 12 from 12 pm CST through Wednesday 11:59 am CST.

Please click here to go to the Inspired by Fabric blog to see today's post.

Everyone who votes in the Championship Game will be eligible
to win a bundle of 1-yard cuts from the winning palette!

I am hoping to be able to count on you for your vote!
And wish you the best of luck in winning some sweet solids all your very own!

Fabrics (from top): 121-000 White, 121-005 Bright Yellow, 121-061 Wasabi, 121-062 Pale Aqua, 121-040 Bright Aqua, 121-016 Pale Silver, 121-010 Silver, 121-014 Grey

My bundle is called Banff National Park and was inspired by this photo found online.

I am naturally drawn to a color palette that includes blues and greens. Think cool waters. A lake. And the clear, blue sky. The yellow adds contrast. Think of the warmth of the sunlight and new spring growth. The white and grey additions provide depth. Think of rocky mountains and fluffy, lazy clouds. Picture perfect. Nature.

Please click on over Inspired by Fabric's blog to vote!

I certainly am MAD FOR SOLIDS!

And so grateful to you my fellow fabric lovers. Your support means a lot!

I'm so sorry, but I cannot find a place to leave a vote. I found one yesterday but I don't see anything where I can leave a comment today. Good Luck.

I've come in too late to vote. Just seen this post and love the colours. I visited Banff in 2005 a fantastic place and stayed just outside the national park in Canmore which again had fantastic scenery. I think the colours reflect the area well.
