WoW-E! top... {Ces't Fini!}

I had my doubts about this design.....

But WoW-E!
It's a finished top and I adore it!

The blocks were made using Kona Cotton Solids in Melon, Punch, Lemon, Daffodil, Green Tea, Asparagus, Sunny, Mango, Cypress, Ice Frappe, Coal, Black.  Snow for the background and Silver for the sashing.

Coal will be used for the binding, but I am still not sure what the backing will be.  Yet.

I did consider this layout using blocks with a two tone quality.  And white sashing.

WoW-E! quilt block layout with two tone and White

The individual blocks finish at 9" square.  And the quilt top finished at approximately 41" x 52".  Making a nice sized baby or lap quilt.

The WoW-E! blocks can also be made in a 13.5" block and 20 blocks would finish at approximately 61.5" x 78".  Or in 18" square blocks with 20 blocks in this same layout finishing at 82" x 104".  Adding more blocks or larger borders can help you to adjust your quilt to the desired size.

The WoW-E! pattern, which has instructions for all three sizes, is now available from both my Payhip pattern store here and in my little Etsy shop here!

Linking up later this week to Finish it up Friday with Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts....

Looks great Lorna! I think the white/two tone version would be great as well.

I haven't commented all year ( except when you needed support to try to win the quilt sewing design contest of the year- and I voted for you EVERY DAY!) but I just wanted to say what a real joy it has been to see your absolutely lovely work come into my e-mail and enjoy the awesome designs and hard work you two put into this creative outlet. I say that because I have never sewn a quilt in my life. ( I repair many :-) but I am not that creative and I admire your authentic designs. THANK YOU! You have made my year so much more brighter do to keeping your promise to be so productive and sharing!!! This little seamstress just wanted to let you know you do bring joy to this world and make it a much nicer AND warmer place to live!
Best wishes to another successful year!

I think that this is my favorite pattern of yours to date. I love the block design and the how you paired the different solid colors makes whole whole top flow together, simply stunning!
