Sweet Watermelons!

I don't think I will ever get tired of making things from equilateral triangles.

Here are my completed table decor flimsies!

Sweet watermelon hexagonal table topper....

Sweet watermelon place mats....

And sweet watermelon long table runner....

At the beginning of the day, I took this photo....

But by the time the table toppers were complete.... I was scrambling to find a good place to take photos.

As I mentioned in Wednesday's Let's Bee Social post, come November, I will be offering classes at my LQS {E&E's Cloth & Creations} in Newton, Ontario, just outside of Kitchener.  I am in the process of choosing three or four projects that have been popular items.  The Fox & Friends {redo} was also remade for this purpose.

My Sweet Watermelon - Table Decor - Set of Three pattern has been a good seller.  And each one of these quilted items were sold from my Etsy shop back in April.  This will be project #2 submitted for classes.  If you are in the Kitchener/Waterloo or surrounding area and would be interested in taking a quilting class with me, I would love to hear from you!

Or you can make your own table topper set using the Sweet Watermelon Table Decor pattern found here.

I get pretty flustered when my family leaves crumbs on the floor, and it starts to look like your background fabric. Cute table decor!

I love that shot of just the watermelon slices, as if they're real watermelons :)

Oh boy. Too many ants for me there... I love your watermelon wedges though! lol (Our house in on a sand field and I have lots of ants in my yard and often in the house. They're not my friends and I would not willingly have them on my table...)

What a great idea! I don't like working iwth triangles much, but Might take this one on...and...it occured to me that you could do the same thing at Halloween time and make it Candy Corn! My kids love candy corn! Thanks for the inspiration and thought! I am joining the linky party!
