I like Turtles

TURTLE crossing!!!

Turtles are cute...

But I also love the Dragonfly and Bulrushes blocks.

Also known as Cat Tails!!!

The backing coordinates with the background print from the front and is from the same collection. Unfortunately, I goofed during the basting process, and the backing is upside down.

Oh well. She is quilted now.
Using plain white thread, I quilted horizontal wavy lines from edge to edge with my walking foot.

Slow and Steady...

Wins the Race.

 "T is for TURTLE" finished at 84" x 84"

The first fabrics are for the right hand quilt on the pattern cover.
This HOHOHO setting uses 8" or 16" blocks to make a 36" or 72" square quilt.

The backing is from the Jolly Ole Soul collection by Barb Gelotte Tourtillotte for Henry Glass Fabrics.

The second fabric pull is for the left hand quilt on the pattern cover.
This Santa and Snowflakes setting uses 8" or 16" blocks to make a 48" or 92" square quilt.

The backing fabric is Baby It's Cold Outside by Hoffman Fabrics.

You have given me an ear worm today for a song from long ago Turtles Chocolates commercials. “Ooo, I love turtles.”
