Prime Mates Pattern Release!

How is your self isolation going?

Are you...

GOING BANANAS?!!!

I have been going bananas over all of these primates!!!

Capuchin Monkey is hanging by his tail to reach the biggest bunch of bananas.

I love the background fabric!!!

It's Quilter's Linen in Metallic Steel by Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

The shine from those lovely silver strands....

Pairs together so nicely with the tree fabric!

The tree fabric is Metallic Tree from the Branching Out collection for Hoffman California International Fabrics.

The tree branches also feature these beautiful shiny silver leaves!!!

The Prime Mates pattern includes instructions for making all of the monkeys.

I chose to make mine using mostly Alison Glass fabrics!!!

Chimpanzee

Hanging Orangutan and Squirrel Monkey on the vine

Mandrill Baboon

Mexican Spider Monkey

Gorilla

And of course there is a PARTY IN THE BACK!!!

This was the last piece of Jungle Party by Robert Kaufman.

The Jungle Party is in the center, flanked by two different polka dot fabrics.

One is Lotus by Amy Butler for Rowan Fabrics and the other is Dots by Riley Blake Designs.

Prime Mates finished at 100" square.

And I also made this cute Go Bananas! table runner that finishes at 13" x 39"

The instructions for the table runner are included in the pattern!!!

Prime Mates quilt pattern has just been added to my shop!

And because I am going bananas, you save 50% for a limited time!

Sew Fresh Quilts' Etsy shop is celebrating 30,000 sales since 2013!!!!!

Wow, this is just the berries to give us all a smile, the quilt, the animals and the chicks. What day is it ? Should be a Wednesday down here, officially the day online school starts, maybe a nightmare for many parents as they juggle working at home, online stuff, parental supervision. I am so glad that I am this age right now. Love the colours you chose, they suit each one so well, just right.

You’re obviously managing to be quite productive during this strange time. I’m not (in part because I Han hand surgery for arthritis immediately before corona lock down happened). I do enjoy such great inspirations for times when I will again be sewing! Love this happy pattern. 🥰🦧🦍
