Introducing my SHOP HOP baby quilt!
Complete with chimneys, and snow covered rooftops, windowsills and doorsteps.
The windows and doorways, neatly trimmed in white, are strip pieced and crosscut, to help make the process quick and accurate.
Knock, Knock!
Who's there?
This crib sized quilt was made using the first two blocks in the SHOP HOP quilt pattern, that will be used as this year's spring quilt along.
Each block represents a SHOP, set in a wintery scene.
The Baby quilt uses the first two blocks in the pattern.
I quilted organic wavy lines using my walking foot on my domestic machine. With white thread on top and in the bobbin.
The backing is this delightful black and white quilt shop print!
My "SHOP HOP" baby quilt finished at 40" x 47"
I am testing the rest of the blocks, as I am making the FULL size version now!

Amazing pattern!! Good luck with the quilt along.
great pattern, Lorna, perhaps will I try, but the baby version :0) i have so many projects, but this Quilt Along seems to be funny. It could be a little quilt to the wall.
best wishes from denmark, Ulrike :0)
, well, Leona, you’ve done it again! Such a fun pattern, and I love the variety of fabric choices we all have. Your patterns are easy to follow, and I know people will love to do any of them. The fox baby quilt I made for a great nephew is still the parents’ favourite. Thanks for all you do. Jill in Phoenix/Calgary. Jill McCaughey at shaw dot ca
That should read Lorna, but you know how computers “correct” us! Jill
I love this pattern! Great job!
Great design as always, and the backing, you could not have a better one anywhere. Love those organic wav y lines so much.
This looks like a fun quilt, Lorna! The backing fabric works wonderfully with it.
