Let's Bee Social #253

Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!

Things they are a changin'.

We are finally planning on creating video.

Yes. That's right folks. Moving pictures. AKA "Talkies"

Welcome to the new age. The age of Austin.

Austin has been helping me with some photography and today's post features five photos taken by him. You can find Austin on Instagram here.

We are planning a video tutorial for the traditional piecing method used as the mainstay for all of Sew Fresh Quilts patterns. I called it the STOP method, which stands for Stitch, Trim, Open and Press.

Another video tutorial I'd like to make is to show how the organic wavy line quilting is performed while using your walking foot.

Do you have any other suggestions for videos?
Do they only have to be for tutorials?
Or would you enjoy videos that are less educational and more entertaining?

Let us know in the comments please!!!

What fun - videos! Looking forward to them. Austin is such a great photographer - loving those new angles to the sewing machine! As for Harry Potter - my son's partner is mad about it!

Those are the 2 videos I would have suggested. If I think of something else, I'll let you know. I still need to finish my other Harry Potter quilt along. Kelly is great at designing quilts.

So excited to hear you will be doing videos. I very much look forward to one on organic wavy line quilting. I love your quilting. Have attempted it on a few small projects but not larger quilts. Your tips will be much appreciated.

I'm also looking forward to your organic wavy lines tutorial! It seems easy enough, but I can't bring myself to jump in - seeing a video will probably get me going! :) Also looking forward to a Harry Potter quilt along - how fun!!

Your son is doing a great job with the photos. So many big cameras. I'd be happy to watch anything - tutorials or sew-alongs, interviews, chats, etc. Looking forward to the Harry Potter quilt-alongs!
