Today I am sharing some good news. It is finally happening again....

Welcome BACK!
Back in the saddle that is....
It seems I have finally broken through the "quilt block" (something like a writer's block, but for quilter's it's called a quilt block) I was dealing with since we relocated. I was attempting to start from scratch with blank pages of good old graph paper. But there were no ideas forming and the lines on the paper could not come unless they were formed in my mind first. And my mind has been blanked out for a while now. So....

I went back to what I had most recently had success with, the Giraffes in a Row, and analyzed what was it that made this pattern appealing. The rainbow.
So I applied that rainbow theme to a couple of already designed patterns and came up with the Rainbow Crocodiles and Rainbow Lovebirds remakes.

I'm glad your quilting designing mojo has returned. Blocks like that happen to all of us. Blessings on you in your new life!
I love the rainbow lovebirds. and the crocodiles are very cute in rainbow array as well. I'm glad things are settling down a bit after the move.

I think it's impossible to look at a rainbow and not feel happy. Once the quilt fog sets in, it can be hard to part the smoke and see again. So glad these bright happy colors helped to clear your quilting skies again <3
Just love your designs, glad you tot your mojo back.
Both patterns are wonderful. I can relate to quilt block. I'm glad it's over for you.
Congratulations on the new design. I bet the pump is primed now, so I expect to see all kinds of new things from you!
Super cute! My 3- and 5-year old grands would love those crocodiles! Glad you persevered - those creative blocks can be kinda scary, wondering if you'll ever have another good idea, but clearly, that's not the case here. :) Sending happy, continuing creative thoughts your way.
LOVE the crocs. You never disappoint when I come to visit. Thank you for the linky party.
