Let's Bee Social #224

Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!

These past few weeks have been very busy with shows and workshops. And the weather has been crazy! But during that bad weather I managed to put together the entire 20 blocks for my Christmas Sweaters quilt. Now I just have to arrange them into rows and transform this into my first quilt top made in my new home.

DID YOU KNOW?????

Sandra of Musing of a Menopausal Melon is soon hosting her 2nd Annual Quilt Along, It's for Plus Playtime, which is in the latest issue of Modern by the Yard, the Benartex ezine. The link to the pattern (which is FREE!) is on their blog, Sew In Love With Fabric, in the top spot on the sidebar.

The QAL will run from April 24 (sponsors post) to July 5. Actual fabric requirements post is May 1, but you can get them anytime in the ezine. It's looking like a great prize lineup and Stitch Stash Diva (and possibly a CA shop too) is going to curate kits for it.

Interested???? Check out Sandra's beautiful Plus Playtime post here.

Now... It's your turn for Show and Tell!!!
What have you been working on?

Love your cute sweater blocks! Perfect time to sew them with snow outside! These sweaters are very cute with the Christmas fabrics.

brrrr snow.
Our weather in No Virginia has been totally nuts. Hot last week, now cold.
I have grown to hate my winter coat, but I have to wear it.
I love the view from your window. What a lovely neighborhood.
I will visit some of these links.
Happy Wednesday

Well done on your sweater blocks. We've had crappy weather as well. Spring cannot get here soon enough. I'm going to play with Sandra. Just need to find some fabrics.

And I recommended you to the two guilds I spoke to recently, so hopefully we will keep you plenty busy with speaking and teaching and designing!

Thanks for the tip on the QAL! I'm just finishing one so it's good timing to start another! Your sweaters look great, the snow...eh...not so much! hahaha!

Lorna, I can't tell you how tickled I am that you featured my upcoming QAL here! Thank you SO much! Love those pink, red and soft blue sweater blocks--so IRL are we ever going to get out of wearing sweaters and into shorts and tank tops this year??
