Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!
Things have been really busy. Both quilting and life in general. Just chuggin' along!
Today I am sharing this new pattern Choo Choo Train.
The pattern comes with instructions to make either a quilt that finishes at 40" x 48" or a table runner or pillow that finishes at 18" x 48"
I haven't actually had a chance to make it myself yet. But I did get to see the one made by Dorothy. She requested a train pattern to make something for her grandson for Christmas. And she made him a big pillow that he loved!
Now Dorothy has found this to have helped her to join us here in blogland! She just started her new blog Quilts by Dorothy and I am encouraging you all to stop by and visit her today. Let's Bee Social and welcome her to our world!
If you are interested you can find the Choo Choo Train pattern here.
THANK YOU to all of you who took advantage of the year end sale. Your support is greatly appreciated. As are all of the words of encouragement you have shared in comments and emails since I announced that I would be starting a new life this year. Your friendship means so much to me and you are why I keep on creating! Thank you all so much!

This is another adorable pattern! Love what you have come up with. Perfect for a little boy. Also love that it is traditionally pieced - thank you :)!
I think this pattern will be very popular! Happy New Year!
Another winning pattern! The train makes for a super cute baby quilt.
Very best wishes as you begin a new year, and a new life. I'm sure your decision was a difficult one, and I wish you happiness as you move forward.
Lorna, you are the best. We ask you and always so graciously deliver. I popped over to Dorothy's page to say hello and see her creation. I think the smile on her grandson's face says it all :) I can't wait to see what over fun designs 2018 and you bring us!
That train is just darling.
Oh wow, the train is so adorable!
Cute pattern!!

Well done!! Another great pattern.
I'm just now catching up with the blogs I follow after the holidays. My heart goes out to you and your family, Lorna. It's good that you're looking at this as not just an unhappy ending to a marriage, but as a fresh new beginning for you and your children. I hope that ending your marriage won't be messier or more painful than necessary, and that you and your husband are able to work out an arrangement in your kids' best interest. And, because I know that we can all be brave in one moment but still have other moments of doubt, fear, and sadness -- I will pray for God's peace and guidance as you pass through the uncharted waters that lie ahead of you.
