Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!
For the first time in well over a month, I finally have had a chance to do some sewing! On Saturday I led a workshop for the Oakville Quilters' Guild and was asked to do a little demonstration of the wavy line quilting. I brought along my paper pieced Geometric Texas block made a few months ago and managed to get that completely quilted. Hoping to share this as a finish this Friday!
Here are some of the participants of the workshop and blocks from their hard work that day.
I had a wonderful time at the class and these girls were a blast to hang out with all day!
And then during this week I began sewing up a quilt top that I had all cut out and ready to sew. The top is done and the backing and binding are prepared. Hoping to get some quilting done on this one today!
++++ Edited to add: The following refers to USD prices! ++++

Such cute makes. Love seeing what everyone decided to make from your patterns. Thank you for the pattern sale, Lorna!
Oooh thank you. I shall dash over to your shop! I keep meaning to and then get stuck with other things. Life has a habit of getting in the way of enjoying my sewing! LOL @ the raccoon lady! Looks like a nice fun group. I actually have managed to baste a quilt from earlier this year ready to sew. Then I can join in with the next social!
Hi Lorna,
I am sew happy to hear you found some time to get back into sewing! Your quilt guild workshop looks like it was really fun and productive for all attendees! Such cute and eclectic projects everyone had! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. ~smile~ Roseanne

Wow that's a great sale Lorna. Great, also, are the collection of blocks made my members of Oakville QG! Some lovely fabric choices there and happy faces, win-win!
