This past Saturday I had the great pleasure of providing a workshop for the Royal City Quilters' Guild in Guelph. Because all of my patterns consist of the same piecing techniques, for these workshops each participant can chose whatever pattern they would like to make. So we have a wide variety of different blocks. As you can see by all the smiles.... We had a fabulous day hanging out together. Lots of sewing and plenty of laughs!
I held a trunk show for the Royal City Quilters' back in April. Many of these ladies were in attendance for the show and a few were faces that were new to me. Some of these girls are also quilting bloggers that I feel like I have known for so long now. It was so fun to be able to spend the day with each of them!
Back row on the left end is my friend Kathy. Please drop by Kathy's Quilts today! Front row on the right end is my good buddy Lisa. Check her out at Sunlight in Winter Quilts!
Now... It's your turn for Show and Tell!!!

how fab that you were able to meet up with good friends! Love Kathy's blog and I'm envious you're both in the same country - bit of a big one though isn't it, haha!!! x

So, that's Kathy! She said she had a wonderful time! Thanks for the link to go meet Lisa! Ever travel to Canada's east coast? Enjoy your day! XO
Looks like it was a fabulous workshop, Lorna! I'm totally jealous that you get to meet blogging friends...there aren't many of us in NL :)
I've met Kathy. She is a sweetie! We both collect and use vintage sewing machines.
It's always a lot of fun to turn those online connections into face to face meetings. Actually the majority of our quilting group I first met online, not to mention my husband!?! Looks like a fun group!
I must be a real blogger now . I recognised Lisa! It looks like a great time was had by all as they used to say . Great fun
It's so good to see everyone and their beautiful blocks. It looks like a great time was had by all. If only I lived closer, I'd love to attend one of these workshops :)
What a great collection of patterns! How would one go about getting you to come to guild for a workshop?
Hello Katie! Because you are a no reply commenter, this is the only way I could respond to your question. Please send me an email at sewfreshquilts (at) gmail.com and I can provide you with more information. Thanks!
