This week I am so excited to have finished all 99 of my Little Blooms blocks. It was just one month ago that I embarked on this mission - to make a large quilt using 99 of the 7" Little Bloom blocks made entirely from Kona Cotton Solids.
This quilt top finished at 63" x 77" and was basted and quilted on Monday. The binding fabric was ordered from Pam of Mad About Patchwork and am hoping for a Friday Finish! If you are interested in making a Little Blooms quilt of your own, Pam has quilt kits for sale in her shop here.

I Love your Little Blooms, Lorna. I have a WoW-E cut out in the same solids as my Puppy Stars. They will be matching quilt for two little sisters who are our cousins. Thanks for hosting. Happy Canada Day!
What a beautiful quilt! I love your block and how you have used those gorgeous Kona Solids, your work is such an excellent example of how versatile and wonderful the old humble solid can be! How are you planning on quilting it? Can't wait to see it finished, good luck on a Friday finish! Its currently over 30degrees here in the UK and I just don't know if I can face machine quilting today! :)
So jealous!!! How can you make every stinking seam match so perfectly?
Such a labor intensive quilt and oh so beautiful!!!
love that quilt! anyone who doesn't like to work with all solids needs to take a look at this quilt and your other quilts to see how gorgeous they can be.
Oh my! Those blooms are incredible, Lorna! And, of course, you kept a running list of all the Kona colours you used, right?
Wow - that is a real standout quilt! I love all the colors in it!
I like the new blog look, Lorna! :)
Good luck being ready with a Friday Finish!!! :)
Such a sweet quilt--and perfect for summer. I'm always in awe of your precise piecing!
Now this is a happy quilt! A happy and big quilt! Really big! The colors are just amazing!
Little Blooms looks really fab! You got it basted and quilted in one day? That's quick work!
Holy wowza that is quite a lot of little blooms... yet one of my favorite numbers! (Fave # is 9). I love them though! Way to go and I am rooting for you on a Friday Finish!
Looks fantastic - can't wait to see it quilted!
You must so and quilt all day. Did you quilt this quilt on your domestic machine? I am anticipating Friday's finish. Debbie
Hi Lorna! Your quilt is so bright and happy perfect for the summer time. I love working with solids because prints can easily distract me. It would be really interesting to see this pattern using one or two colors that are really dark in one corner and fade to lighter in the opposite corner for a more subdued look. Ahhh I have all kinds of ideas but I have too many quilts to make. I hate when that happens. :) Thank you for the inspiration.
Oh Lorna! That's amazing! The corners are so perfects and the colors are beautiful! Love it!
This is another gorgeous quilt Lorna.
What a pretty colors and a lot of WORK :)
Sure love the way your garden blooms.....great job.
I'm totally in love with this quilt. It's so bright and happy! :)
Kudos!! You made quick work of all those blocks. I need to get moving on my WIP's so I can start making some of your fabulous patterns. There's just so much out there I want to try.
Those blooms might be little, but they sure have a big impact. Love it!
What a blooming lovely quilt - loving all the colours - now waiting for the harvest :)
Charming quilt, Lorna. You chose such lovely colors.
