Let's Bee Social #77

I dug into my tiny Kona scraps and managed to cut enough pieces for 34 more Little Blooms blocks. Now all my little scraps fit into one small container. Next I will tackle my larger scraps. I'd like to add some more purples, pinks and yellows to the mix!

If you'd like to see what I'm up to each day, follow me on Instagram. I'd love to hear from you and see what you are doing too!

Along with the 30 I made previously, this brings my total to 64 of the 99 needed to make this quilt.
Only 35 more to go!

You are 2/3rds of the way there with the blocks - very nice! I'm excited to see the larger version pieced; it is going to be beautiful. :)

Hi Lorna! I love love your blocks! They look so cute and delicious with those colours! I hope to make this pattern one day. Perhaps for one little girl WHO is waiting to get a quilt. Have a lovely day! x Teje

Wow, that's a lot of blooms! They look lovely in your first picture. I always like seeing your blocks pictured in this fashion. And imagining the beauty of the top to come. Have a great day! :-)

Those blooms are Kona-tastic! Kudos to you for tackling the scrap bins. I might need to do that soon... more than one has a lid that won't fit on anymore. I think those scraps expand when I'm not looking.

Love the crisp look of these blocks but can't imagine every being able to "empty" one of my scrap bins?!?

Thank you for all your advise. I am in need of help and have one dumb question (not that any question is dumb) How do I link back up to me? Is that what is suggested? Love the colors of all the blocks you are doing and can't wait to see the finish. L

Thanks for hosting your inspiring link-up party, Lorna!

Your little bloom blocks are as sweet as candy. Such gorgeous colours that are especially welcome on this overcast and rainy day. This is going to be an amazing quilt! Cheering you on....

These blocks look so great in solids! Not to mention that it's fun to whittle away at those scrap piles. First time link up with you today!

Someday I need to start a total scrappy quilt with just solids just to empty out my bins... But first I need to get to all of those WIP's,
