According to my progress this week...
I may have to change the name of this linky party to the Let's Bee Solid....
While visiting my good friend Christine of Triangles & Squares last Friday, I seen she was planning on participating in two new quilt alongs. One of them is for a super sweet solids quilt - Hillside Houses.
Now I have to admit... This quilt along was impossible for me to resist. It's got so many things I love.... Sweet solids, simple design, and I have always admired house quilts and wanted to make one. This design is perfect! The Hillside Houses quilt along is run by Cristina of Pretty Little Quilts.
Here is my first block!
If you are interested in the Hillside Houses quilt along, Cristina's first post announcing the quilt along can be found here. And the post for the instructions for the first block can be found here.

The second quilt along Christine of Triangles & Squares posted about last week was the Farm Girl Fridays quilt along from Bee In My Bonnet. This quilt along features blocks made from Lori Holt's new book, Farm Girl Vintage.
I am so excited about Farm Girl Fridays! This week it's my day on the Farm Girl Vintage blog hop. Tune in Friday to see the farm fresh block I get to share with you!
Now Let's PARTY!!!!
What's new with you?
What is the Let's Bee Social??? You can read the details here.
Keep On Quilting On!

Oooo the houses are adorable! I love the blues that you've chosen on your first house.
Solids are so versatile! How neat to find a great QAL through Christine's blog. :)
Hi Lorna! I saw also the Hillside Houses QAL and hope to make that one day. I really love the houses and the beautiful solids! Even I don't have now time to sew the blocks I think I need to print it so I can start to colour the houses. Happy sewings! x Teje
