Let's Bee Social #29

Saturday was spent poolside while my son participated in a swimming meet.  Not a big fan of noisy crowds, I parked my lawn chair behind everyone else and passed part of the time doodling on graph paper.

The leftover backing from the Quilt Like An Egyptian quilt I made last month is the inspiration for my colour choices.  Kona Cyan, Azure, Grass and Peapod.  The backing fabric is Michael Miller's Everyday Houndstooth in Lagoon.

I sure do love me some Kona cotton solids.  And some Kona Snow.  I cut all the pieces on Monday.  And sewed all day Tuesday.

Making a baby boy quilt.  Again.

NOW.... What's new with you?

Although this link up is the highlight of my week, I have been finding it difficult to keep up, visiting with each of you.  Please forgive me if I missed your post from last week.  Summer is sure busy, but I will strive to find the time to get to each one of you and hope you are doing your best to visit at least a few of the other participants.

I love your new project. Are you planning to add sashing, or set the blocks as they are?

Guess what? I too really like those colours. . I've got a bit of a thing for those slightly yellow greens, like peapod, right now and yours are working really well with the blues and white.
