SELF CONTAINMENT SALE

The whole world seems to be going into self containment.

What can we do?  Pray. And help our vulnerable family and neighbours.

I am fortunate to have my family at home with me. My childrens' university and college classes are cancelled - for now. And our province is under a declared statement of emergency.

What does that mean?

I am staying home and sewing, which is my goal on any regular day.

And I am visiting my mom more regularly. We spend most of our time working on jigsaw puzzles. And chatting. I have encouraged her to stay at home. She has finally agreed to let me bring her anything she needs - like milk, etc. and a few home cooked frozen meals to stock her freezer. Even though she lives beside the local WalMart. I prefer to pick up from my small grocery store here in Mitchell and am avoiding the BIG BOX stores.

How are you handling this "self containment"?

Are you able to contain yourself?

  1. Oh, Lorna, this quilt really speaks to me! I wouldn’t have the fabric to participate in the hop, but I might just have to make it later! Stay safe!
