These little monkeys are all lined up.
They may appear to be behaving.....
But I think there's some Monkey Business going on!
Sneaky Monkeys....
I am doing a good job of resisting making any fabric purchases this year. And I am digging deep into my stash to find some pieces I have had for so long.
This time I found this piece from the Urban Mod collection from Art Gallery Fabrics. I am hoping you will see this again next week, as it is also ready to back my Irish Lullaby quilt I shared progress of in this post. The top is finished and waiting to be basted!

Of course, the quilting is my usual organic wavy lines using my walking foot. I chose two different variegated threads from Superior Threads for this, both on top and in the bobbin and I opted to bind this little quilt using the background print.
The "Monkey Business" baby quilt finished at 36" x 46"
and was the 34th use of my 2nd edition of 100 labels
ordered from Ikaprint.
One of the things I love about this new pattern is that it can be made to suit a boy.... or a girl... or to be a gender neutral quilt - all depending upon what fabrics you choose!
AND there are two sizes!
The smaller size has 9 monkeys and finishes at 36" x 46"
The larger size has 12 little monkeys jumping on the bed and finishes at 48" x 54"
This new pattern is called Monkey Business and you can find it listed here in my shop.
