Let's Bee Social #170

Welcome to the Let's Bee Social! First of all.... I want to thank you all so much for your good wishes following having my appendix removed. I am recovering really well and am so glad to be able to share another Let's Bee Social weekly linky party with you!

Today I am thrilled to be sharing three quilts from different readers who have sent emails and have given me permission to share their story with you.

Christina writes, "I'm sure that you are fully aware that you have a lot of international fans. But here is some proof! I made a Dog Gone Cute quilt and took it to our local tourist attraction, the Eiffel Tower. This is the real one, by the way, not that fake one in Las Vegas. ;-)) I didn't have an assistant to hold the quilt up - that would have been better - but I hope you enjoy the picture anyway. And yes, I'm one of those 'weirdos' that don't have a blog or an Instagram account etc. Thanks so much for this pattern. Although my result does have some flaws, I really like this quilt! I will be giving this to my nephew who is turning 5 in a few days. The family recently got a dog that everyone is crazy about, so hopefully he will like these dogs, too. All the best from Paris."

Sharon sent me a photo of her Raccoon quilt. And says, "I loved the orange raccoon so decided to use two in the pattern. It is adorable. Thanks for the pattern and your help along the way. My grandson loved the quilt and has been sleeping with it every night. Really fun quilt. Thanks."

And Margaretha wrote, "I just wanted to share with you a picture of the Chihuahua quilt I made for my daughter. She will be visiting this weekend and I know she will love it. I named it "Chloe and Friends" since that's the name of her little Chihuahua. It was a lot of fun making and I even added an extra row to make it longer. I bought your pattern when you visited Kempenfelt Quilters Guild as our speaker last fall and next I will be making your Dog Gone Cute pattern. Thanks for all the wonderful, fun and easy patterns you are creating."

It makes me so happy to be able to share quilts made by other readers and to show how the patterns can be personalized to suit each quilter's ideas. Those Dogs at the Eiffel Tower are amazing! I love that Christina added both sizes of blocks for a pretty pack of pups. Seeing Sharon's Raccoon quilt makes me smile. Two orange raccoons are better than one... And I love the wavy line quilting - of course! And Margaretha's Ay, Chihuahua quilt is super sweet. I do prefer a rectangle quilt and I love that scrappy binding!

I hope one day to have email like those (I want to be like you when I grow up ) Do you ever happen to have no inspiration what so ever? I had a month where whatever I tried didn't work and my inspiration was gone. Thank the Goddess it is back but sheesh.
