Dog Gone Cute Blog Hop Schedule

Hooray! We made it through the month of September. And now the instructions for the Dog Gone Cute quilt along have all been posted. Those of you who are quilting along will now have the entire month of October to plan and prepare for their Dog Gone Cute entry in the linky party that will open on November 3rd and close on November 10th.

Meanwhile....
Today I wanted to share with you....
This incredible quilt made by Crystle Minor!

Chrystle told me she made this quilt for three special boys. I was thinking she meant the two legged variety of boys..... But NO! This quilt was given to her friend Maggie of the Oh My Dog! blog. And here is a photo of her boys on the quilt!

Apparently, Maggie also has this black cat named Newt. Everyone to your own corner of the bed! Looks to me as if this crew was getting a time out and Newt is keeping an eye on the clock to know when it's okay to get down.

Thank you so much Crystle and Maggie!
Sure appreciate your willingness to sharing your quilt
and your fur family with us here on the Sew Fresh Quilts blog!

Now then.... During the coming month we have a lineup of 41 wonderfully talented quilting bloggers ready to show off their Dog Gone Cute projects during the entire month of October. I am so proud and thankful to have each of them in my kennel! I owe them a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for helping me to catch all those pesky fleas found in the pattern. I sure appreciate their helpful feedback, encouragement and understanding. And they all deserve a GREAT BIG DOG BONE!

Now, let me introduce you....

It will be such a treat for us during October to get to know these super sweet Blog Hop participants, found on the Blog Hop Schedule below. For those of you who have not decided yet what fabrics to choose... What layout to go with.... Or what size of blocks to make.... These Dog Gone Cute quilters will be providing you with plenty of inspiration and ideas to get you going! Some of them have been sharing a little progress on their blogs and maybe they'll give you a few ideas of how you might like your pups to look. Take some time each week to drop by and say HELLO!

  9. I love the beautiful blues and greens in that quilt, and those dogs, so adorable. I do have fabric picked out - I found a bundle that told me that it was clearly for dogs. I look forward to seeing all the other Dog Gone Cute quilts out there.
