Let's Bee Social #87

My Kona Coal arrived. As you can see, I got my sashing and borders cut and pieced onto my maxi size Dog Gone Cute quilt. Unfortunately, the new Coal does not quite match the old Coal. But that's okay! I am looking forward to getting this quilted up soon!

  4. Love the DGC in the Kona Coal. Just got to think what colour I want as my background. I have been so restrained and haven't started yet until I get my rainbow quilt finished ........ I want to though!!

  5. I like the fact that the two batches of coal don't quite match - it adds a little extra spark to your quilt which I think looks fabulous!

  26. I have had that happen with Kona Coal. I had two pieces that I would have sworn were completely different colors they were so different. I actually like the subtle difference in the grays in the quilt and I love the doggie design!
