I've never used a layer cake before, so I'd possibly try a fun HST or hourglass block arrangement.

ReplyDeleteIf I were to win this precut, I would head straight to the moda website and browse their patterns. I know I'd find the perfect project there. The only precut I've tried is the jelly roll. It was a quick and easy way for me to decide if I liked quilting or not. (And I'm still quilting 4 years later!)

I recently saw a quilt that cut the layer cake into three strips and then swapped out the middle pieces. I can't remember the title of it, but it would be perfect for this layer cake
