Oh, Suz-Anna!

Oh, Suz-Anna!  And a Friday finish.

It is a grey day.  The sun is not cooperating.  But Oh, Suz-Anna!!!
She is much more attractive in real life.

I quilted around a few of the small squares in evenly spaced concentric squares using my walking foot as a guide.  Electric Green and Lemon Flash Magnifico threads by Superior Threads were used on top and plain white Guetermann polyester thread was used on the back.

And speaking of the back...  We have some Olivia by Gudrun Erla Designs for Red Rooster paired up with The Giving Garden by Terri Conrad Designs for Robert Kaufman.

This is a good sized throw and finished at 58" square.

Hello Sunshine by Lori Whitlock for Riley Blake was used as a stripey rainbow machine sewn binding.

She's sweet and bright, that Oh, Suz-Anna!  I just have to try this again with white used for the squares.  Maybe in a table runner sized project next time!

Linking up to Finish it up Friday with Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts and TGIFF!
hosted this week at Kelly's My Quilt Infatuation.

  19. You have such a great eye for colour, and especially bright colour. You manage to get them to play, so well together. This quilt is no exception. It's gorgeous.
