These Elves and I are wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
This Elf on the Shelf quilt makes me so happy...
There are two Elf blocks included and repeated through the quilt.
Strip piecing made these guys quick and easy!!!
I love their pointy ears!
For the backing, I pieced together some remnants from past projects....
Including my last lengths of those cute sweater wearing foxes in this Sweater Weather print, from the Festive Forest collection by Michael Miller....
Which was originally used to back my Ugly Christmas Sweaters quilt from January 2016
"Elf on a Shelf" finished at 66" x 74"
and is for sale in my shop here.
Just wanted to take a minute to Thank YOU ALL for following along at Sew Fresh Quilts.
This Christmas marks the end of my eighth year blogging and quilting.
As I reflect back on all the changes that have happened, I am always mindful of the things that I am so thankful for. Yes, it was 8 years ago today that I started this blog as a way to document my progress and to make connections with fellow quilters like you.
I had finished my first quilt, made for my daughter Erin. And was on dial up internet at the time....
Thank you for all your kind comments left on my blog posts, in emails and on facebook and instagram. And for all the encouragement you give me.
I couldn't have made it this far without your friendship and all of your support!
Now we are coming to the end of YET ANOTHER WONDERFUL YEAR...
Together with you, I look forward to 2021 and all the quilts we're gonna make in this NEW YEAR!
MERRY CHRISTMAS 2020 EVERYONE!
