I'm a lumberjack and I’m ok....
This quilt makes me very very very happy.
Those silly faces look so fabulous.
The plaid shirts with pockets turned out so realistic!
And those crazy toques!!!
Quilted using a black/grey/white variegated thread on top and in the bobbin in organic wavy lines using my walking foot on my domestic sewing machine.
The binding is this handsome grey text print and I added a couple strips to add interest to a side joint.
The backing is the remainder of the wide backing flannel used in Lumber Jills’ shirts.
I can just see this pair hanging out in the woods together. No. Not chopping down trees with an axe.
But just standing there, with the length of a moose between them.
Doing their part.
Social Distancing.
"Lumber Jack & Jill" quilt finished at 50" square.
I love the way the shirts turned out!!!

ReplyDeleteElbow Waggles from Julierose ;)))
Sew cute! My son and his family live in Anchorage, Alaska, and while 'Going on a Bear Hunt' the other night, they saw a moose in their neighborhood (not unusual).
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Lorna !
ReplyDeleteI think my grandson would like a koala pillow . And I have all the time in the world to make it now
Keep safe
