Cindi wrote me an Etsy conversation to share her finished Giraffes in a Row quilt...
"My finished quilt went to MQX New England in April and it did very well. I had it custom quilted and it got a Faculty Award in the show. This was a fun quilt to do and everyone loved it."
I asked if I could share this on the blog. The quilt is just to beautiful not to want to show it off!!!
"Lorna, feel free to share the quilt. I had the quilt appraised while it was at MQX and the lady who did the appraisal absolutely loved this quilt. She gushed about it. I should give credit also to Julia Larina who did the custom quilting on this. She is from Colorado Springs, Colorado and I sent this quilt to her and told her to do whatever she wanted with it."
CONGRATULATIONS CINDI!

ReplyDeleteI don't know where all these designs are coming from, but keep 'em coming. You're on a creative roll lately.
ReplyDeleteAll the new designs are so so fun! I want to make them all, now! I wish some of my other projects were done...I can't have any more WIPs! I may have to cut out a little pocket of time to make at least one of the new patterns! The giraffe quilt is beautiful, the quilting on it is just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHi Lorna. I love your quilts and have made quite a few. Are you going to put the lemur quilt pattern for sale soon. My daughter in law works at the zoo with the lemurs and I know she would love that quilt. Please let me know. Thanks. Jill
ReplyDeleteWow you have been busy! Your sewing room/quilt studio looks great with it so tidy. I am trying to re-organise after the move - and I've not done much for ages, but it's that time when the weather is good - it's outdoor chores and veggie patch!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting was gorgeous on that quilt.
Ohh la la! That custom quilting on the giraffe quilt is amazing!
