This is my most. favourite. make. EVER
This is Nailed It! another quilt geared to guys and all boy - or tomboy - as the case may be. *wink*
I was mighty tempted to make this quilt using a rainbow line up of hammers. But resisted...
And I am so glad I did because I love these true to life colours of this quilt and the prints I chose just seem to tickle my fancy in just the right way. I want to keep this quilt a while.....
I found this measuring tape fabric in my stash from way back when this whole quilting journey had begun. This piece was from back in the prewash days of my stash additions. But it must have been waiting for just the right occasion to be used, And I just added a strip of Architextures.
Lovin' the pencils and their fabrics the best. Makes me happy!!!!
The "Nailed It!" quilt finished at 44" x 55"
and was the 7th use of my 3rd edition of 100 labels
ordered from Ikaprint.
Want to make your own?
You can find the pattern here.
Hammer blocks finish at 6” x 10” or 12” x 20”.
All your quilt designs are wonderful, Lorna, but I have to agree with you that this one is pretty special!ReplyDelete
This is awesome!! Seriously COOL!ReplyDelete
You are on a roll! My husband was looking over my shoulder and said "ooh they're clever!" :DReplyDelete
I just love your unique and playful patterns! And truly love this line of more masculine/tomboy quilts. I was having a hard time finding something I'd like to make for my husband, a plumber. Now you've given me several to choose from, although I bet I end up making all the tools! 😍😍🌟🔧🔨🔩ReplyDelete

Fabulous! So glad your creative juices are alive and well.ReplyDelete
This is just so tremendously fun! You are right, the rainbow looks cool but the realistic colors just really make it special. I especially love the pencils.ReplyDelete
This could be good quilted with MeadowLyon's Workbench panto.ReplyDelete
This looks fabulous. I prefer the black/grey version. Those pencils.....ReplyDelete
