There is a new elf in house. Austin has been helping me with some photography and today's post is featuring photos taken by him. You can find Austin on Instagram here.
Austin is the eldest son of my man Chad.
In all the six years since I started this blog in December of 2012, I have not shared a lot about my personal life. Mainly because this is a quilting blog. So I blog about quilting. And also because this blog is my happy place and I want all my visitors to be happy. That is another reason I did not talk much about my personal life. I was not happy.
I am now.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad your lives have taken a turn for the better. It is really hard to make difficult decisions and it's easier to just stay in a bad situation. Good for you for taking control of your life and making a happy home for you and your children. Blessings to you all!
ReplyDeleteHi Lorna! I am so glad to hear that life is very, very good. {{Hugs}} I can't think of anyone that deserves it more. I imagine your creativity will really amp up now that you can let the bad go and open your heart to all the goodness! It will come spilling out of you, having been pent up while you focused on other stuff. These pictures are delightful. Christmas is definitely heading our way, and I wish you a very Merry one! Happy Happy Wednesday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

ReplyDeleteI couldn't be happier for you! You smile, I smile! Admittedly, I'm a bit jealous of your elf, I want an elf to take photos for me! Cheers to new beginnings and the new year ahead which will be full of creative and fun sewing!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you are HAPPY Lorna!! Good for you and thanks for sharing it with all of us!
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list of "We're happy you're happy" followers! I think sometimes relationships turn bad so slowly that we don't remember what good was and then it doesn't seem like it's possible to fix...I don't know this from personal experience, but have watched friends and family members deal with really bad relationships. So glad you've found someone to value you because you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome to hear! We are celebrating with you!
ReplyDeleteMake sure that Mr. Chad treats you like the Quilting Goddess that you are!
Hope you have a wonderful season full of light and love!
Sending you a great big hug! So happy to hear that good things have come to you. Have a Merry Christmas.
