Hello Foxy

Hello Foxy. Nice to meet you!

I am so excited by this quilt. I thought there was no way I could make yet another fox quilt design. But this cute character makes me so happy! He's just so fun!

This little critter was a perfect opportunity to use the orange Link fabric by Alison Glass for Andover that I purchased from Clinton Modern Creative. It's a fun modern print that does a fantastic job of reading like a solid. And it was such a beautiful contrast to the background fabric that I found in my stash.

The background is Get Back in Blue from the Hello Love collection for Free SpiritThe quilting was performed using a variegated orange on top and plain white thread in the bobbin.

The backing is Out Foxed by Michael Miller Fabrics. It was a new stash addition at the beginning of last year. I used some of this on a Fox among the Birches quilt you can see here.... And I still have enough left for one more quilt.

Just want to apologize now for the fuzzy spot on most of these photos. It was a warmer day than the last photo shoot. But it was snowy and a bit blustery. I got some snow on the camera lens and did not notice until I uploaded the photos to the computer.

This quilt was such a fun and quick make.

And I am looking forward to making the matching mini quilt soon!

The "Hello Foxy" quilt finished at 36" x 44"
and was the 66th use of my 2nd edition of 100 labels
ordered from Ikaprint.
