Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!
Things are finally returning to normal since returning from Quilt Market. I'm now working on this new pattern called Desert Donkeys. This quilt setting finishes at 38" x 47".
I am also working on this profile Donkey head block that finishes at 6" and 12" square.
I haven't sewn anything in over a month!!! But tonight I am away from home providing a Trunk Show for the Ancaster Quilt Guild. Can't wait to get out and meet some quilters in person!
Oh, I love your saguaro cacti! Reminds me of my winter home in Arizona. We are now here and I can see them for myself. They are especially beautiful in the spring when they bloom. We are here for that. It's a feast to the eyes...just like your new quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove the donkey - very cute addition to the menagerie! :D
ReplyDeleteOne month without sewing????? You need some machine time!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful eyes on the donkey - love this block! Can't believe you went a whole month without sewing - enjoy your trunk show today!!
ReplyDeleteLove the donkey head! It would fit in perfectly in the animal quilt I'm making for my grandson, so far all the patterns I'm using are yours.
ReplyDeleteTrunk shows are the best! You will have a blast hosting it. I did one last year. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love your different cactus blocks! :D
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! I love the cactus and the little donkey! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Donkeys in this part of the world are usually grey so that's the colouring I am drawn to. Mum always speaks with love of the donkey they had on the farm they helped bring int he turf and he was grey so maybe that's got something to do with it too!
ReplyDeleteSuch adorable donkeys!! Is there an animal you can't make!?! haha! Well done again :)
ReplyDeleteYour donkeys are so adorable! You are so inspiring with an unendless palette of ideas! You totally rock, Lorna! Keep it up and get back to sewing! Your spirit needs the sound of the sewing machine. ; ) Hugs, Karen
ReplyDeleteCute donkey!! You'll need to make your way through all the animals.
