Let's Bee Social #176

Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!

Last week I remarked that things were going to the dogs.

 This week is for the birds!

 That's perfect for today's Let's Bee Social post, as Birds of a Feather flock together. And that's what we do each week. I was inspired by the Cardinal and Blue Jay that were included in the Forest Friends 2 design. And thought I should make a few more bird blocks. So I came up with a Red Winged Black Bird, Robin and Red Headed Woodpecker to join the flock.

 This week I am busy making up a few of these new bird blocks to make a table runner for my mom for Mother's Day.....




This new pattern is called Birds of a Feather and you can find it listed here in my shop.
The pattern provides instructions for making BOTH.....
Wall Hanging size 21” x 34” and a Table Runner size 10" x 34"

    These birds are so great, Lorna. What a sweet little wallhanging and runner. I can think of a lot more ways to use these birds, too. You are so creative!

    Very pretty! I apparently have a thing for blue jays lately, when I'm not confusing them with woodpeckers. 0:) All those birdies are so cute sitting in that tree!

    I love birds, and it's so great that you offer small additional projects to go along with your quilt. In between my extra large quilts, I like to sandwich in a smaller "breather" project... love it!
