Let's Bee Social # 154

Welcome to the Let's Bee Social!

Christmas is only a few short weeks away....

I am keeping busy adding individual quilt BLOCK patterns to my shop. And am offering a coupon code that is good for the entire month of December 2016. This discount applies to everything in the shop. Use SALE25 to save 25% off your total purchase of $10 or more.

I'm not working on anything Christmas related this year, but for those of you who may be looking for something to quilt along those lines.... Something to make for a gift this year (or next year!).... I thought I'd also share a few past makes with you today.

The pattern includes instructions
for making a festive door banner
and a lap quilt setting.

Each reindeer block finishes at 12" x 12"
and would also make a cute mini quilt!

This is Ugly Christmas Sweaters.
This is a free quilt along (found here) and is also available as a pdf pattern (found here).

Each sweater block finishes at 12" x 12"
These blocks can be used to make:
a table runner
a pillow cover
a cute mini quilt
or a quilt of any size!

These are some of the table runners I made last year.
They are Winter mittens
and the Santa Runner.

All of these runner patterns can be found in my shop here.

Speaking of table runners....
There is a free tutorial for this Stepping Stones block here.
And I have added this block pattern to my shop here.

I got a little carried away in laying this one out in a Christmas themed colourway.
And now I may be planning to make my mom a new runner this year!

Now... It's your turn for Show and Tell!!!

  1. You have made me think today Lorna. I loved your Ugly Sweaters quilt along, a actually went out and got the fabrics, but you know how it is, we get busy and prioritise other things. If I had joined in I would have a lovely quilt which was meant to be a Christmas gift for my daughter, instead I put off too long. Is it too early to make a New Years resolution? It will be to keep up with quilt alongs next year and finish my quilts, please hold me to that one.
