I can hardly believe that summer is already on it's way out....
I miss it already!
The kids returned to a new school year yesterday.
My daughter is in her final year of high school and my son is entering Grade 11.
Time sure does fly!
And now that fall is on our doorstep, it's back to visiting guilds and providing trunk shows and workshops. Today I am preparing for my show at the Halton Quilters' Guild in Burlington, ON tomorrow night.
I spent most of my weekend designing a Flower quilt and writing up the pattern instructions.
And then I spent a little time shopping at Mad About Patchwork and came up with this....
Flowers in Mad About Patchwork - 70" x 90" |
Using the fabric choices that come with the EQ7 program, this is how my original plan looked...
I also tried it out in a couple of Northcott Fabrics' Essentials lines...
And then I adjusted the design to allow for this square quilt option...

I also chose my fabrics for the MOD Bear Paw QAL.
