  13. Love the chicks! Mama hens are sweet, too, but in some of the photos their heads appear to blend into the background, which is a pity.

  22. This quilt is absolutely adorable!! I'm a chicken mama and one of our hens hatched chicks for the very first time about a month ago, so I have a special affinity to mama hens and baby chickies! Lovely pattern.

  23. It never ceases to amaze me how you can put so much personality into little critters with a bit of body positioning a little square eye. It must be a big challenge to do that and make it look so simple. I wonder if you go through a lot of drafts--and if so, it would be interesting to see the various stages some of these patterns go through before you get to the final pattern. These chickies are adorable.
