THANK YOU!!! to all who volunteered to help test the new pattern designs I showed last week. Not only have these kind and helpful ladies given me prompt and well thought out feedback on the patterns, they have also given me an indication of which patterns appeal to the largest majority of quilters who have responded. Turns out the Kissy Fishy is a clear winner!
Meanwhile, I just announced the long awaited finish of my MOD Bear Paw quilt yesterday. And will be soon sharing a remake of my Black Birds quilt in anticipation of the event coming next month.
Now..... I can't wait to tear into some fresh fabric and get to making one of those new designs myself! The Ay, Chihuahua! pattern is next in line. I just think those wee pups are so cute!
Here is a sample made by Becky of Keizer Quilts. She is much more active on Instagram and you can follow Becky here. You'll be so happy you did!
Becky made the mini quilt version of the pattern and her feedback was indispensable. I am so grateful for her help in finalizing the pattern! The Chihuahua dogs come in two block sizes and there are four different quilt layout sizes to choose from!
It's your turn for Show and Tell!!!

You're so productive, Lorna. And your little dogs are very, very cute. The girl is quite charming!
ReplyDeleteI wish you a beautiful and sunny day.
The patterns just keep getting cuter and cuter. In my head I'm wondering is there a way to put the Chihuahuas with the Dog Gone Cute litter. If so, you'd have the cutest little mix of dogs ever :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the weekly link up Lorna sure is nice to spend time checking and seeing what everyone else is working on - so many different styles and we all have one thing for sure in common - we all love fabric/quilting.
ReplyDeleteYou have so much going on, Lorna, and it's great the community is such a helpful and great resource. :)
ReplyDeleteI just got my Ay Chihuahua pattern and can't wait to make one for Mousie's Mom.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful pattern!
ReplyDeleteSO interesting that Kissy Fishy was the most popular... it was my choice!
ReplyDeleteI think you made up a new word..."modernitional"!
All your quilt patterns are adorable and favorites. I especially love when one of the animals are a different fabric or turned a different way than the others. The Chihuahua is one example. Love Becky's Mini Version!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use test quilting volunteers as a way to gauge which patterns had the broadest appeal. The Aye Chihuahua quilt really cracks me up Lorna!
ReplyDeleteWunderschön!
ReplyDeleteDanke auch für diese schönen Linkpartys, ich freue mich immer sehr über die Vielfalt der Einstellungen!
Liebe Grüße
Steffi
