  3. I do like solids but I'm always looking for the perfect solids. The ones that will feel just right in your hand. There used to be Polished Apple solids and Egyptian Cotton solids, they were the best.

  6. I always have a bolt of white and black solids - a staple. I go in spurts with solids - just made three quilts with solids - now I need some tiny prints.

  7. I just started collecting them about a year ago...it's growing! Modern quilts make me pay better attention to value and placement, designs are more linear-yet organic.

  19. My solids are almost non-existent, a metre of cream, one red fat quarter, one of green, and lately not enough scraps of anything to do a block or two. I really need to build up that solid stash so they are on hand always.

Good Morning I must say my solids are lacking and the main reason for this is because their are so many solids out there that are just beautiful I really never know which ones are the best to put in my quilts. But these colors are looking very nice and saturated. THank you for the lovely give-a-way and am seeking a very nice solid. sgriff57(at)comcast(dot)net

  38. Solids were my first fabrics to work with when I first started to quilt - many, many moons ago!
    Over the past year they have slowly made their way back into my stash as they compliment the prints I use very well.

  96. I LOVE solids, but never can seem to find a good assortment at my local,shops. I finally broke down and purchased Kona's color card so I could easily order on-line. Love Bella solids, as well, and would love to add some to my stash.

  106. I am not a huge fan of solids. I like solids, but I guess I prefer a mottle print that reads solid at a distance. I guess I like visual texture and solids don't have much texture.

  136. Solids? Did purposefully purchase color packs of fat quarters when an online store had them on special. I am getting used to how to use solids successfully, but I think I still prefer a "reads" solid print because there is more visual texture. That said, i continue to experiment with both. Thanks for putting together these generous giveaways, Lorna.
