This is Rural Squirrel in ColorWorks Concepts. The full post and photos will be shared on Friday. Yvonne of Quilting JetGirl was kind enough to stop by the Northcott Fabrics booth last week to snap this photo for me. Yvonne was a volunteer for the show and you can read about her experience here.

ReplyDeleteYou quilt looks great hung at QuiltCon!
ReplyDeleteOh Lorna - Love this almost best. The polka dot 'tree' fabric really shows where all a squirrel will dare to go. Reminds me how often they scamper up the pole to the bird feeders :) - telephone poles and across the wires plus all the trees on their usual route. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you were really excited to see your quilt on display in all it's glory - so exciting! Making it over sometime for QuiltCon is on my bucket list... comes right after making it to Quilt Market!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful that even though your couldn't make it, other's made sure you got to 'see' your beautiful quilt hanging in all it's glory?!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looked great hung at Quiltcon! One of these day I'll get to go and see all those beautiful quilts in person...and actually meet all those beautiful quilters!
ReplyDeleteIt was a delight to see your work on display. Because it hung so high, it was easy to see from across the vendor booth displays. I think they liked your work! And I delighted in showing my mom, who was with me, your work. Her name is Lorna as well. :)
ReplyDeleteHow cool that your quilt was there! Such an honor. I went up to QuiltCon for the day (we live nearby), and it was such an experience...my first time there. Hoping to make it to another sometime in the future!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the squirrels had a good time at quiltcon!
ReplyDeleteVery cool that Yvonne was able to snap a picture for you! I'm sure everyone there fell in love with those curious little squirrels frolicking in the forest.
